Holy BIBLE 신명기 Deuteronomy 10장

1 At that time the LORD said to me, "Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones and come up to me on the mountain. Also make a wooden chest.

  그 때에 여호와께서 내게 이르시기를 너는 처음과 같은 두 돌판을 다듬어 가지고 산에 올라 내게로 나아오고 또 나무궤 하나를 만들라

 

2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Then you are to put them in the chest."

  네가 깨뜨린 처음 판에 쓴 말을 내가 그 판에 쓰리니 너는 그것을 그 궤에 넣으라 하시기로

 

3 So I made the ark out of acacia wood and chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hands.

  내가 조각목으로 궤를 만들고 처음 것과 같은 돌판 둘을 다듬어 손에 들고 산에 오르매

 

4 The LORD wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the LORD gave them to me.

  여호와께서 그 총회 날에 산 위 불 가운데에서 너희에게 이르신 십계명을 처음과 같이 그 판에 쓰시고 그것을 내게 주시기로

 

5 Then I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made, as the LORD commanded me, and they are there now.

  내가 돌이켜 산에서 내려와서 여호와께서 내게 명령하신 대로 그 판을 내가 만든 궤에 넣었더니 지금까지 있느니라

 

6 (The Israelites traveled from the wells of the Jaakanites to Moserah. There Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son succeeded him as priest.

  （이스라엘 자손이 브에롯 브네야아간에서 길을 떠나 모세라에 이르러 아론이 거기서 죽어 장사되었고 그의 아들 엘르아살이 그를 이어 제사장의 직임을 행하였으며

 

7 From there they traveled to Gudgodah and on to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.

  또 거기를 떠나 굿고다에 이르고 굿고다를 떠나 욧바다에 이른즉 그 땅에는 시내가 많았으며

 

8 At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today.

  그 때에 여호와께서 레위 지파를 구별하여 여호와의 언약 궤를 메게 하며 여호와 앞에 서서 그를 섬기며 또 여호와의 이름으로 축복하게 하셨으니 그 일은 오늘까지 이르느니라

 

9 That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their brothers; the LORD is their inheritance, as the LORD your God told them.)

  그러므로 레위는 그의 형제 중에 분깃이 없으며 기업이 없고 네 하나님 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하심 같이 여호와가 그의 기업이시니라）

 

 

 

 

10 Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and nights, as I did the first time, and the LORD listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.

  내가 처음과 같이 사십 주 사십 야를 산에 머물렀고 그 때에도 여호와께서 내 말을 들으사 너를 참아 멸하지 아니하시고

 

11 "Go," the LORD said to me, "and lead the people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them."

  여호와께서 내게 이르시되 일어나서 백성보다 먼저 길을 떠나라 내가 그들에게 주리라고 그들의 조상들에게 맹세한 땅에 그들이 들어가서 그것을 차지하리라 하셨느니라

 

12 And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

  이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 요구하시는 것이 무엇이냐 곧 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하여 그의 모든 도를 행하고 그를 사랑하며 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 섬기고

 

13 and to observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

  내가 오늘 네 행복을 위하여 네게 명하는 여호와의 명령과 규례를 지킬 것이 아니냐

 

14 To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

  하늘과 모든 하늘의 하늘과 땅과 그 위의 만물은 본래 네 하나님 여호와께 속한 것이로되

 

15 Yet the LORD set his affection on your forefathers and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations, as it is today.

  여호와께서 오직 네 조상들을 기뻐하시고 그들을 사랑하사 그들의 후손인 너희를 만민 중에서 택하셨음이 오늘과 같으니라

 

16 Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.

  그러므로 너희는 마음에 할례를 행하고 다시는 목을 곧게 하지 말라

 

17 For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.

  너희의 하나님 여호와는 신 가운데 신이시며 주 가운데 주시요 크고 능하시며 두려우신 하나님이시라 사람을 외모로 보지 아니하시며 뇌물을 받지 아니하시고

 

18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.

  고아와 과부를 위하여 정의를 행하시며 나그네를 사랑하여 그에게 떡과 옷을 주시나니

 

19 And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.

  너희는 나그네를 사랑하라 전에 너희도 애굽 땅에서 나그네 되었음이니라

 

20 Fear the LORD your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.

  네 하나님 여호와를 경외하여 그를 섬기며 그에게 의지하고 그의 이름으로 맹세하라

 

21 He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

  그는 네 찬송이시요 네 하나님이시라 네 눈으로 본 이같이 크고 두려운 일을 너를 위하여 행하셨느니라

 

22 Your forefathers who went down into Egypt were seventy in all, and now the LORD your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.

  애굽에 내려간 네 조상들이 겨우 칠십 인이었으나 이제는 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 하늘의 별 같이 많게 하셨느니라

 

 

 

 

Holy BIBLE 신명기 Deuteronomy 11장

1 Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

  그런즉 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 그가 주신 책무와 법도와 규례와 명령을 항상 지키라

 

2 Remember today that your children were not the ones who saw and experienced the discipline of the LORD your God: his majesty, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm;

  너희의 자녀는 알지도 못하고 보지도 못하였으나 너희가 오늘날 기억할 것은 너희의 하나님 여호와의 교훈과 그의 위엄과 그의 강한 손과 펴신 팔과

 

3 the signs he performed and the things he did in the heart of Egypt, both to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole country;

  애굽에서 그 왕 바로와 그 전국에 행하신 이적과 기사와

 

4 what he did to the Egyptian army, to its horses and chariots, how he overwhelmed them with the waters of the Red Sea as they were pursuing you, and how the LORD brought lasting ruin on them.

  또 여호와께서 애굽 군대와 그 말과 그 병거에 행하신 일 곧 그들이 너희를 뒤쫓을 때에 홍해 물로 그들을 덮어 멸하사 오늘까지 이른 것과

 

5 It was not your children who saw what he did for you in the desert until you arrived at this place,

  또 너희가 이 곳에 이르기까지 광야에서 너희에게 행하신 일과

 

6 and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when the earth opened its mouth right in the middle of all Israel and swallowed them up with their households, their tents and every living thing that belonged to them.

  르우벤 자손 엘리압의 아들 다단과 아비람에게 하신 일 곧 땅이 입을 벌려서 그들과 그들의 가족과 그들의 장막과 그들을 따르는 온 이스라엘의 한가운데에서 모든 것을 삼키게 하신 일이라

 

7 But it was your own eyes that saw all these great things the LORD has done.

  너희가 여호와께서 행하신 이 모든 큰 일을 너희의 눈으로 보았느니라

 

8 Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,

  그러므로 너희는 내가 오늘 너희에게 명하는 모든 명령을 지키라 그리하면 너희가 강성할 것이요 너희가 건너가 차지할 땅에 들어가서 그것을 차지할 것이며

 

9 and so that you may live long in the land that the LORD swore to your forefathers to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.

  또 여호와께서 너희의 조상들에게 맹세하여 그들과 그들의 후손에게 주리라고 하신 땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 너희의 날이 장구하리라

 

10 The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden.

  네가 들어가 차지하려 하는 땅은 네가 나온 애굽 땅과 같지 아니하니 거기에서는 너희가 파종한 후에 발로 물 대기를 채소밭에 댐과 같이 하였거니와

 

11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven.

  너희가 건너가서 차지할 땅은 산과 골짜기가 있어서 하늘에서 내리는 비를 흡수하는 땅이요

 

12 It is a land the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

  네 하나님 여호와께서 돌보아 주시는 땅이라 연초부터 연말까지 네 하나님 여호와의 눈이 항상 그 위에 있느니라

 

13 So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul-

  내가 오늘 너희에게 명하는 내 명령을 너희가 만일 청종하고 너희의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 섬기면

 

14 then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.

  여호와께서 너희의 땅에 이른 비, 늦은 비를 적당한 때에 내리시리니 너희가 곡식과 포도주와 기름을 얻을 것이요

 

15 I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.

  또 가축을 위하여 들에 풀이 나게 하시리니 네가 먹고 배부를 것이라

 

16 Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.

  너희는 스스로 삼가라 두렵건대 마음에 미혹하여 돌이켜 다른 신들을 섬기며 그것에게 절하므로

 

17 Then the LORD's anger will burn against you, and he will shut the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good land the LORD is giving you.

  여호와께서 너희에게 진노하사 하늘을 닫아 비를 내리지 아니하여 땅이 소산을 내지 않게 하시므로 너희가 여호와께서 주신 아름다운 땅에서 속히 멸망할까 하노라

 

18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

  이러므로 너희는 나의 이 말을 너희의 마음과 뜻에 두고 또 그것을 너희의 손목에 매어 기호를 삼고 너희 미간에 붙여 표를 삼으며

 

19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

  또 그것을 너희의 자녀에게 가르치며 집에 앉아 있을 때에든지, 길을 갈 때에든지, 누워 있을 때에든지, 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론하고

 

20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,

  또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록하라

 

21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

  그리하면 여호와께서 너희 조상들에게 주리라고 맹세하신 땅에서 너희의 날과 너희의 자녀의 날이 많아서 하늘이 땅을 덮는 날과 같으리라

 

 

22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow--to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him-

  너희가 만일 내가 너희에게 명하는 이 모든 명령을 잘 지켜 행하여 너희의 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그의 모든 도를 행하여 그에게 의지하면

 

23 then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.

  여호와께서 그 모든 나라 백성을 너희 앞에서 다 쫓아내실 것이라 너희가 너희보다 강대한 나라들을 차지할 것인즉

 

24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea.

  너희의 발바닥으로 밟는 곳은 다 너희의 소유가 되리니 너희의 경계는 곧 광야에서부터 레바논까지와 유브라데 강에서부터 서해까지라

 

25 No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

  너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 말씀하신 대로 너희가 밟는 모든 땅 사람들에게 너희를 두려워하고 무서워하게 하시리니 너희를 능히 당할 사람이 없으리라

 

26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse-

  내가 오늘 복과 저주를 너희 앞에 두나니

 

27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today;

  너희가 만일 내가 오늘 너희에게 명하는 너희의 하나님 여호와의 명령을 들으면 복이 될 것이요

 

28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.

  너희가 만일 내가 오늘 너희에게 명령하는 도에서 돌이켜 떠나 너희의 하나님 여호와의 명령을 듣지 아니하고 본래 알지 못하던 다른 신들을 따르면 저주를 받으리라

 

29 When the LORD your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.

  네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 가서 차지할 땅으로 너를 인도하여 들이실 때에 너는 그리심 산에서 축복을 선포하고 에발 산에서 저주를 선포하라

 

30 As you know, these mountains are across the Jordan, west of the road, toward the setting sun, near the great trees of Moreh, in the territory of those Canaanites living in the Arabah in the vicinity of Gilgal.

  이 두 산은 요단 강 저쪽 곧 해지는 쪽으로 가는 길 뒤 길갈 맞은편 모레 상수리나무 곁의 아라바에 거주하는 가나안 족속의 땅에 있지 아니하냐

 

31 You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there,

  너희가 요단을 건너 너희의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 땅에 들어가서 그 땅을 차지하려 하나니 반드시 그것을 차지하여 거기 거주할지라

 

32 be sure that you obey all the decrees and laws I am setting before you today.

  내가 오늘 너희 앞에 베푸는 모든 규례와 법도를 너희는 지켜 행할지니라
