Holy BIBLE 역대상 1 Chronicles 10장

1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel; the Israelites fled before them, and many fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

  블레셋 사람들과 이스라엘이 싸우더니 이스라엘 사람들이 블레셋 사람들 앞에서 도망하다가 길보아 산에서 죽임을 당하여 엎드러지니라

 

2 The Philistines pressed hard after Saul and his sons, and they killed his sons Jonathan, Abinadab and Malki-Shua.

  블레셋 사람들이 사울과 그 아들들을 추격하여 블레셋 사람들이 사울의 아들 요나단과 아비나답과 말기수아를 죽이고

 

3 The fighting grew fierce around Saul, and when the archers overtook him, they wounded him.

  사울을 맹렬히 치며 활 쏘는 자가 사울에게 따라 미치매 사울이 그 쏘는 자로 말미암아 심히 다급하여

 

4 Saul said to his armor-bearer, "Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me." But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

  사울이 자기의 무기를 가진 자에게 이르되 너는 칼을 빼어 그것으로 나를 찌르라 할례 받지 못한 자들이 와서 나를 욕되게 할까 두려워하노라 그러나 그의 무기를 가진 자가 심히 두려워하여 행하기를 원하지 아니하매 사울이 자기 칼을 뽑아서 그 위에 엎드러지니

 

5 When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died.

  무기 가진 자가 사울이 죽는 것을 보고 자기도 칼에 엎드러져 죽으니라

 

6 So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.

  이와 같이 사울과 그의 세 아들과 그 온 집안이 함께 죽으니라

 

 

 

 

7 When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.

  골짜기에 있는 모든 이스라엘 사람이 그들의 도망한 것과 사울과 그의 아들들이 다 죽은 것을 보고 그 성읍들을 버리고 도망하매 블레셋 사람들이 와서 거기에 거주하니라

 

8 The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

  이튿날에 블레셋 사람들이 와서 죽임을 당한 자의 옷을 벗기다가 사울과 그의 아들들이 길보아 산에 엎드러졌음을 보고

 

9 They stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news among their idols and their people.

  곧 사울의 옷을 벗기고 그의 머리와 갑옷을 가져다가 사람을 블레셋 땅 사방에 보내 모든 이방 신전과 그 백성에게 소식을 전하고

 

10 They put his armor in the temple of their gods and hung up his head in the temple of Dagon.

  사울의 갑옷을 그들의 신전에 두고 그의 머리를 다곤의 신전에 단지라

 

11 When all the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard of everything the Philistines had done to Saul,

  길르앗야베스 모든 사람이 블레셋 사람들이 사울에게 행한 모든 일을 듣고

 

12 all their valiant men went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons and brought them to Jabesh. Then they buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.

  용사들이 다 일어나서 사울의 시체와 그의 아들들의 시체를 거두어 야베스로 가져다가 그 곳 상수리나무 아래에 그 해골을 장사하고 칠 일간 금식하였더라

 

13 Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance,

  사울이 죽은 것은 여호와께 범죄하였기 때문이라 그가 여호와의 말씀을 지키지 아니하고 또 신접한 자에게 가르치기를 청하고

 

14 and did not inquire of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.

  여호와께 묻지 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 그를 죽이시고 그 나라를 이새의 아들 다윗에게 넘겨 주셨더라

 

Holy BIBLE 역대상 1 Chronicles 11장

1 All Israel came together to David at Hebron and said, "We are your own flesh and blood.

  온 이스라엘이 헤브론에 모여 다윗을 보고 이르되 우리는 왕의 가까운 혈족이니이다

 

2 In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the LORD your God said to you, 'You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.' "

  전에 곧 사울이 왕이 되었을 때에도 이스라엘을 거느리고 출입하게 한 자가 왕이시었고 왕의 하나님 여호와께서도 왕에게 말씀하시기를 네가 내 백성 이스라엘의 목자가 되며 내 백성 이스라엘의 주권자가 되리라 하셨나이다 하니라

 

3 When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, he made a compact with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel, as the LORD had promised through Samuel.

  이에 이스라엘의 모든 장로가 헤브론에 있는 왕에게로 나아가니 헤브론에서 다윗이 그들과 여호와 앞에 언약을 맺으매 그들이 다윗에게 기름을 부어 이스라엘의 왕으로 삼으니 여호와께서 사무엘을 통하여 전하신 말씀대로 되었더라

 

4 David and all the Israelites marched to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus). The Jebusites who lived there

  다윗이 온 이스라엘과 더불어 예루살렘 곧 여부스에 이르니 여부스 땅의 주민들이 거기에 거주하였더라

 

5 said to David, "You will not get in here." Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion, the City of David.

  여부스 원주민이 다윗에게 이르기를 네가 이리로 들어오지 못하리라 하나 다윗이 시온 산 성을 빼앗았으니 이는 다윗 성이더라

 

6 David had said, "Whoever leads the attack on the Jebusites will become commander-in-chief." Joab son of Zeruiah went up first, and so he received the command.

  다윗이 이르되 먼저 여부스 사람을 치는 자는 우두머리와 지휘관으로 삼으리라 하였더니 스루야의 아들 요압이 먼저 올라갔으므로 우두머리가 되었고

 

7 David then took up residence in the fortress, and so it was called the City of David.

  다윗이 그 산성에 살았으므로 무리가 다윗 성이라 불렀으며

 

8 He built up the city around it, from the supporting terraces to the surrounding wall, while Joab restored the rest of the city.

  다윗이 밀로에서부터 두루 성을 쌓았고 그 성의 나머지는 요압이 중수하였더라

 

 

 

 

9 And David became more and more powerful, because the LORD Almighty was with him.

  만군의 여호와께서 함께 계시니 다윗이 점점 강성하여 가니라

 

10 These were the chiefs of David's mighty men--they, together with all Israel, gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the LORD had promised-

  다윗에게 있는 용사의 우두머리는 이러하니라 이 사람들이 온 이스라엘과 더불어 다윗을 힘껏 도와 나라를 얻게 하고 그를 세워 왕으로 삼았으니 이는 여호와께서 이스라엘에 대하여 이르신 말씀대로 함이었더라

 

11 this is the list of David's mighty men: Jashobeam, a Hacmonite, was chief of the officers ; he raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed in one encounter.

  다윗에게 있는 용사의 수효가 이러하니라 학몬 사람의 아들 야소브암은 삼십 명의 우두머리라 그가 창을 들어 한꺼번에 삼백 명을 죽였고

 

12 Next to him was Eleazar son of Dodai the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men.

  그 다음은 아호아 사람 도도의 아들 엘르아살이니 세 용사 중 하나이라

 

13 He was with David at Pas Dammim when the Philistines gathered there for battle. At a place where there was a field full of barley, the troops fled from the Philistines.

  그가 바스담밈에서 다윗과 함께 있었더니 블레셋 사람들이 그 곳에 모여와서 치니 거기에 보리가 많이 난 밭이 있더라 백성들이 블레셋 사람들 앞에서 도망하되

 

14 But they took their stand in the middle of the field. They defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

  그가 그 밭 가운데에 서서 그 밭을 보호하여 블레셋 사람들을 죽였으니 여호와께서 큰 구원으로 구원하심이었더라

 

15 Three of the thirty chiefs came down to David to the rock at the cave of Adullam, while a band of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim.

  삼십 우두머리 중 세 사람이 바위로 내려가서 아둘람 굴 다윗에게 이를 때에 블레셋 군대가 르바임 골짜기에 진 쳤더라

 

16 At that time David was in the stronghold, and the Philistine garrison was at Bethlehem.

  그 때에 다윗은 산성에 있고 블레셋 사람들의 진영은 베들레헴에 있는지라

 

17 David longed for water and said, "Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!"

  다윗이 갈망하여 이르되 베들레헴 성문 곁 우물 물을 누가 내게 마시게 할꼬 하매

 

18 So the Three broke through the Philistine lines, drew water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out before the LORD.

  이 세 사람이 블레셋 사람들의 군대를 돌파하고 지나가서 베들레헴 성문 곁 우물 물을 길어가지고 다윗에게로 왔으나 다윗이 마시기를 기뻐하지 아니하고 그 물을 여호와께 부어드리고

 

19 "God forbid that I should do this!" he said. "Should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives?" Because they risked their lives to bring it back, David would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty men.

  이르되 내 하나님이여 내가 결단코 이런 일을 하지 아니하리이다 생명을 돌아보지 아니하고 갔던 이 사람들의 피를 어찌 마시리이까 하고 그들이 자기 생명도 돌보지 아니하고 이것을 가져왔으므로 그것을 마시기를 원하지 아니하니라 세 용사가 이런 일을 행하였더라

 

20 Abishai the brother of Joab was chief of the Three. He raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed, and so he became as famous as the Three.

  요압의 아우 아비새는 그 세 명 중 우두머리라 그가 창을 휘둘러 삼백 명을 죽이고 그 세 명 가운데에 이름을 얻었으니

 

21 He was doubly honored above the Three and became their commander, even though he was not included among them.

  그는 둘째 세 명 가운데에 가장 뛰어나 그들의 우두머리가 되었으나 첫째 세 명에게는 미치지 못하니라

 

22 Benaiah son of Jehoiada was a valiant fighter from Kabzeel, who performed great exploits. He struck down two of Moab's best men. He also went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion.

  갑스엘 용사의 손자 여호야다의 아들 브나야는 용감한 사람이라 그가 모압 아리엘의 아들 둘을 죽였고 또 눈 올 때에 함정에 내려가서 사자 한 마리를 죽였으며

 

23 And he struck down an Egyptian who was seven and a half feet tall. Although the Egyptian had a spear like a weaver's rod in his hand, Benaiah went against him with a club. He snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.

  또 키가 큰 애굽 사람을 죽였는데 그 사람의 키가 다섯 규빗이요 그 손에 든 창이 베틀채 같으나 그가 막대기를 가지고 내려가서 그 애굽 사람의 손에서 창을 빼앗아 그 창으로 죽였더라

 

24 Such were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada; he too was as famous as the three mighty men.

  여호야다의 아들 브나야가 이런 일을 행하였으므로 세 용사 중에 이름을 얻고

 

25 He was held in greater honor than any of the Thirty, but he was not included among the Three. And David put him in charge of his bodyguard.

  삼십 명 중에서는 뛰어나나 첫째 세 사람에게는 미치지 못하니라 다윗이 그를 세워 시위대장을 삼았더라

 

 

 

 

26 The mighty men were: Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan son of Dodo from Bethlehem,

  또 군사 중의 큰 용사는 요압의 아우 아사헬과 베들레헴 사람 도도의 아들 엘하난과

 

27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,

  하롤 사람 삼훗과 블론 사람 헬레스와

 

28 Ira son of Ikkesh from Tekoa, Abiezer from Anathoth,

  드고아 사람 익게스의 아들 이라와 아나돗 사람 아비에셀과

 

29 Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,

  후사 사람 십브개와 아호아 사람 일래와

 

30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled son of Baanah the Netophathite,

  느도바 사람 마하래와 느도바 사람 바아나의 아들 헬렛과

 

31 Ithai son of Ribai from Gibeah in Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,

  베냐민 자손에 속한 기브아 사람 리배의 아들 이대와 비라돈 사람 브나야와

 

32 Hurai from the ravines of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,

  가아스 시냇가에 사는 후래와 아르바 사람 아비엘과

 

33 Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,

  바하룸 사람 아스마웻（아스마웨ㅅ）과 사알본 사람 엘리아바와

 

34 the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan son of Shagee the Hararite,

  기손 사람 하셈의 아들들과 하랄 사람 사게의 아들 요나단과

 

35 Ahiam son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal son of Ur,

  하랄 사람 사갈의 아들 아히암과 울의 아들 엘리발과

 

36 Hepher the Mekerathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,

  므게랏 사람 헤벨과 블론 사람 아히야와

 

37 Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai son of Ezbai,

  갈멜 사람 헤스로와 에스배의 아들 나아래와

 

38 Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar son of Hagri,

  나단의 아우 요엘과 하그리의 아들 밉할과

 

39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armor-bearer of Joab son of Zeruiah,

  암몬 사람 셀렉과 스루야의 아들 요압의 무기 잡은 자 베롯 사람 나하래와

 

40 Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,

  이델 사람 이라와 이델 사람 가렙과

 

41 Uriah the Hittite, Zabad son of Ahlai,

  헷 사람 우리아와 알래의 아들 사밧과

 

42 Adina son of Shiza the Reubenite, who was chief of the Reubenites, and the thirty with him,

  르우벤 자손 시사의 아들 곧 르우벤 자손의 우두머리 아디나와 그 추종자 삼십 명과

 

43 Hanan son of Maacah, Joshaphat the Mithnite,

  마아가의 아들 하난과 미덴 사람 요사밧과

 

44 Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jeiel the sons of Hotham the Aroerite,

  아스드랏 사람 웃시야와 아로엘 사람 호담의 아들 사마와 여이엘과

 

45 Jediael son of Shimri, his brother Joha the Tizite,

  시므리의 아들 여디아엘과 그의 아우 디스 사람 요하와

 

46 Eliel the Mahavite, Jeribai and Joshaviah the sons of Elnaam, Ithmah the Moabite,

  마하위 사람 엘리엘과 엘라암의 아들 여리배와 요사위야와 모압 사람 이드마와

 

47 Eliel, Obed and Jaasiel the Mezobaite.

  엘리엘과 오벳과 므소바 사람 야아시엘이더라
